I was clearing out my temporary internet files under my "internet options" and i noticed a file with no name and an expiration of 2019.

when i try to delete the file, i get a dialogue box that says "windows explorer has stopped working" then i click ok and it resets. no matter what i do i cannot delete this file.

does anyone have a way, short of restoring my laptop to its orignal?

A file without name? Are you sure it's not a blank space? Are you suspecting spyware? and how's the file afecting you? Is it too big?

    no, its a file.

    File name: Blank
    internet address: Blank
    Type: File
    Size: 1 kb

the icon in front is a notepad icon. when i select it and try to delete it, i get a "Windows Explorer has stopped working" dialogue box, i will never delete.

i got all this info from the Tools>Internet Options>Browsing History Settings>View Files

    Never had this occur before..
