I was looking at Dell's UK website and noticed that, despite mentioning on the Dell XPS 16 web page that Blu Ray is an option, when you try to customise preferences for the laptop you want there is no option to select Blu Ray.

Is Blu Ray added as standard with the XPS 16 or am I missing something here?

They removed the option from most of their computers about a month because of shortages.

I placed my order on the 29/01/2010 & added the blu-ray option. It was not available by ordering online but if you call, they will add the option. I am in the UK also.

The US site I noticed just started offering ROM BR drives again yesterday ... now if they just come out with the ATI 5000 series ... I might bite.
