This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     No bluray for XPS16?!?

    I'm looking for a new laptop and thinking of getting the XPS16 but found out it has no bluray....

    Does anyone know when the next XPS will come out?

    or if they can recommend me a laptop that has i7, bluray and 1080p screen?

    If it is a dealbreaker for you you can get the bare drive for about 50 bucks on ebay.....

    It still has Blue-Ray as an option here on Dell Australia site.

    Seems like I was logged into the business side which does not give a blu-ray option. The home user web page gives this option.
