This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Perhaps it's because of the 'tax free weekend' here in TN, but I can't get below the $1500 max that qualifies for 'tax free'.

    Looking at an XPS 17...got the configuration down to $1529.99 - that with the $350 and $150 coupons out there....and no one will pull one for $30 out of their had or anything like that. Tried all the tricks even spoke/chatted with multiple reps.

    Oh, well, guess I swallow my pride and knock out something like the backlit keyboard to get under $1500 come Sunday morning.

    Sorry...to whine...been a long day of this.
