    Perhaps it's because of the 'tax free weekend' here in TN, but I can't get below the $1500 max that qualifies for 'tax free'.

    Looking at an XPS 17...got the configuration down to $1529.99 - that with the $350 and $150 coupons out there....and no one will pull one for $30 out of their had or anything like that. Tried all the tricks even spoke/chatted with multiple reps.

    Oh, well, guess I swallow my pride and knock out something like the backlit keyboard to get under $1500 come Sunday morning.

    Sorry...to whine...been a long day of this.
