    So I'm just browsing the XPS 1645 as I was curious about looking at the i7 configurations. Is it just me or has Dell taken off all Blu-Ray options?

    You are correct. This happened a while ago. They were having supply issues.

    Damn... I guess I was lucky when I got my sig rig a few months ago... I actually got it during the XPS Signature Event, so I got the Blu-Ray Burner for $35 over the regular Blu-Ray drive lol.

    I spoke to a rep via online chat. They said that the blu ray drives would return at the end of February.

    Interesting as the REP I talked to said they aren't available anytime soon till the new lines come out.
