    Hi Everyone,

I've owned my second hand Studio XPS 1640 for less than a month, but in that time I've experienced no issues whatsoever.

In your experience, what is the likelihood that something will go wrong beyond the first year of use, given that nothing has so far? There are 4.5 months left of the 12 months in the warranty period.

I usually go for extending the warranty, but given that the cheapest option for this notebook is $199 Canadian per year, I need to think it over.

My system specs are as per my profile (and in the next post).

    All opinions will be appreciated!

    TIA!

they fixed most of the issues well almost but an undervolt and a reap of thermal paste wont hurt and my answer to this is of course you should extend your warranty buy the best one you can IMO it pays for itself.
