So... I'm looking at the Order Status for my Studio XPS 16 system. Here's what makes no sense to me:

    Estimated Delivery Date: 2/13/2010 (updated)
    Shipping Method: 5-7 Day Delivery

    But...

    Carrier: Not Shipped
    Tracking Number: Not Shipped

Maybe it's just me... but with 5-7 Delivery, I imagine it would have had to ship by now to reach me on the 13th. Unless there's a wormhole involved someplace.

Ah, the estimated delivery date... If there's one thing I've learned, it is that they cannot be trusted.

But at the same time, you cannot trust the status. My laptop had a delivery date of 2/5/10.

On 2/3/10, I got an email saying my laptop was shipped.

    Wanna know what was funny?

The laptop arrived 7 hours earlier on the same day before that email was sent.

I checked the tracking information, and it turns out Dell sent me my shipping update 3 days late :p

    lol... oh well.

I was super excited on Monday when I saw the EDD was updated from 2/25 to 2/13. Now, I don't know whether to be excited or not :)

My estimated shipping date on a Bluetooth card I ordered was listed at 3/12/ 2012. I ordered it on 2/06/2010, it said "Shipped" on 2/08/2010 and I received it today.

    Strange!
