Just wondering, my XPS M1530 came with a 15 month subscription of norton. It's already installed but I don't think it's activated though I'm not sure. It says that Norton Internet Security is not configured.
If possible I want to sell it on eBay or something because I've already got Spyware Doctor so I don't need it. Does anyone know if
1) The Norton Dell gives you is the full version like ones you'd buy in the shops. ie is it sellable.
2) Whether mine is actually activated or not because I don't want to sell it only to find the buyer say that the CD/Activation code doesn't work or something.
3) Is there an option or something on Norton where it shows you how much longer your subscription will last.
Thanks

I wouldn't sell it for sure, because if I wanted to buy it, I would get a real one that I know the activation key hasn't been given to 500 people.
Good luck trying to sell it,

Spyware doctor is an anti-spyware, not an antivirus...

No it's anti spyware and antivirus. Their latest version has antivirus protection.
And if the activation code was given to 500 people than they wouldn't be able to use it and would just get their money back from paypal. Not trying to con buyers....I just really want to sell it cause I have no need for it..
If anyone who got Norton with their dell laptop/computer actually did configure it and everything....can you tell me if you had to activate it or make an account or something please in order to set it up. -
Anyone? ><
