    Not recognizing external hard drive

    So I finally got to use my Dell XPS 15 today (and I love it), but I'm having a major problem. I'm transferring all my old files from my MacBook by means of a WD external hard drive. Only problem is, my computer's not recognizing the hard drive. Why? What can I do about it?

    My only other option is to copy everything to a 16 GB USB drive, which will take forever...
