Anyone have problems with their fans and the new 179.13 drivers from laptopvideo2go? It's really loud and I can constantly hear it spinning, then stopping, then spinning again (stopping for a brief second).

Any tips? I get much better performance though in games compared to 178.13.

Forgot to mention: this is for my 1330 with a 8400M GS.

On my xps1730...the drivers are just perfect so far.
Better image quality and less stuttering, almost 0 in games, that is.
179.13 seem to be the best I`ve tried so far...

I had the same issue with those drivers on m1330. Fans were always on whatever the temp was. Rolled back to older drivers.

I fixed it. Upgrade your BIOS. I was running on A08 + 179.13. Upgraded to A12 and it's smooth sailing from here onwards.
