    Nvidia 550m poor performance with mw3

    Hello , i'm trying to play mw3 and im getting very laggy performance. All the graphic settins on mw3 are set on normal , i know im using the 550m and not the intel. Any suggestions?

    HI Mate
    What I have found is that the card will use the Intel card even tho you think the nvidia is being used.
    Go into the the nvidia settings, and force the nvidia card to use the modern war exe.
    Make sure you have your power plugged in and turn your power settings to high performance.

    I don't find the game that taxing on my 540M, playing @full 1080 with all graphics options on and maxed out to extra with 4X anti-aliasing and averaging around 30 fps, sometimes 40, sometimes low to mid 20's...and that's with old dell drivers....And it looks amazing ! especially the submarine level.

    You must be on the Intel or your max processor state in advanced power settings is not at 100%

    Op you must be using the intel card, whitelist it as someone has said and then try it. I had the same issue but was fine after whitelisting it.

    550m can run this game fine. Whitelist as suggested and all should be good.

    Finally got it to work , everything is running smooth in exta with 4x. i had to switch the phyx configuration , seemed to fix it
