    Not always the best case. I used to have a xps 15 with GT 540M and I was doing great with the 280.xx family of drivers when I updated to the 285.xx family I lost a big 10-20 fps performance dip.

    I hear the newest 290.xx drivers are out there but I have not tested them its good to hear from others whats working best.

    For now the 280.xx drivers are solid performers I have not had good luck with the 285.xx and if someone bravely wants to test out the 290.xx series let us know how they work.

    Still on 285s,Im going to load up the 290 new one I have it on my alienware and it works well so far i haven,t tested much yet.I'll load up bf3 and let ya know.I did notice a smoother play on the m14x with new drivers,I always do the xps after,I haven't had issues yet.

    Hey bro how ya been?Im testing the new 290s tonight im on the latest 285 series from nvidia site they work well.Glad to see you back man. :D
