I'm curious to know what (if any) BIOS options are available in the new XPS 14/15/17 laptops related to the graphics switching.

For example, the new Thinkpads with Optimus have a BIOS option that lets users choose between Optimus, Intel integrated, or Nvidia GPU. Can someone who has a new XPS go into the BIOS and see if anything like that exists?

I'm mainly looking for an option that will allow me to solely use the intel integrated graphics and completely disable the nvidia GPU and optimus altogether. Is that possible?

    Thanks

I believe someone with a 14" model said they did not have any options to switch between the different graphics systems in the BIOS. Maybe someone that actually has received theirs can confirm...

I hope that's not the case. I figure if Lenovo can do it on their ThinkPads then there is no reason why it shouldn't be possible. I'm sure a lot of people would love the option.

I think you do not have to do this in the BIOS, I read somewhere on these forums or a review (can't find it right now (actualy, can't be botherd looking)) that there is an option between optimus/integrated/discrete in nvidia control panel or other program
