I FINALLY got my xps16 today. now thats what you call a product.
However, I think I am facing a issue that is VERY annoying in the sense that I just got it and I do not want to send it back for an exchange/repair.
Anyway, here is the issue:
Around 10 minutes after my laptop is on, the fan just abruptly stops working. I mean, the laptop becomes dead silent. The laptop still works and all, but the fan no longer spins. Is this normal(i am unfortunately assuming that its not)? Has this happened to anyone?
And the dreaded question... do I have to get an exchange?
Dag guys... I was really excited too. Responses will be appreciated.

Seems like an Bios issue...maybe?
my first hint would be a bios upgrade.
lets see what the others would do. -
It stops completely? The fan will stop when your CPU reaches low temperatures and start again when CPU will have a high temp.
Check your temperatures by using HW Monitor, if you CPU exceeds 70C degrees and the fan isn't working, then you have an issue.
O man, please dont let it be an issue... (concerning xps16 and its fan)
