    Fixes/Enhancements
    ------------------
    1. Added enhancement for PPU card.

    ------------------

After updating to A09 and rebooting, I see no visible changes to the options in the BIOS setup screen. Keep in mind, the 'PPU Card' is the PhysX card. Not sure what enhancement Dell has added to the BIOS for this card. Perhaps it's support for a 2GB card? I have no idea.

Maybe they made it actually work in games instead of decreasing performance.
Try a game that supports PhysX with and without it and post the differences...

It seems like the date in the bios setup screen is wrong.
Dell says that the update A09 is released on 7/29/08 and the bios says 5/29/08 ???

My XPS M1730 came with A09 installed. It arrived on July 5th. I think it was released for all the others who didn't already have it on Jul 29th.

Try making a boot disk on a USB memory stick and try from DOS. I ended up creating a USB boot disk and running if from dos. Worked fine that way.
