    Hey everyone! Just received my new 1730 with dual 8800's. Really nice! I want to do a reinstall of Vista Ultimate and was wanting some info on setting up Raid and using mediadirect also. Can this be done, if so, how and which drivers are the RAID drivers I need to download from dell? I know doing a clean install will kill the RAID, right?

    I don't know much about RAID, but for reinstalling Vista with MediaDirect, see the Reinstall Guide.

    why dont u just using the update??
    If u having a Vista Premium now, u can do that! I did it with my m1530

    Huh :confused:

    Anyway, I just wanna know if I repartition with the Mediadirect CD and then reinstall the OS will RAID still be working? I am going to load the Intel Matrix Driver during the reinstall process of Vista. Is this all I need to load or is there another driver I need to use also?
