Did anybody manage to get the latest official Catalyst package from the ATI website installed on their machine? When I tried it wouldn't want to install the drivers, only the utilities. I had to use the one supplied by Dell, which is fine, but I was wondering if there were a way to use the official ones.

    Thanks.

Yes, I installed Catalyst 9.1. Somehow the installation process wasn't smooth. I had to restart 3 times. The 1st time, it uninstalled Catalyst 8.8. The second time it installed Catalyst 9.1 but not the display drivers. The third time it installed Catalyst 9.1 and the display drivers. I don't know why it was such a tedious process.

Same here, it took me 3 tries to get it to install correctly. *sigh* that's the way it is with ATI drivers. Nothing has changed since I last had an ATI card in the late 90's. You just have to suck it up and live with it.
