    to THIS link, you can download the newest A11 BIOS for 1640 xps.. the improvement are:

    Improve boot up time.
    Enhance brightness function.

    Is there actually ANY improvement? My system is working pretty well and I dont want to make things worse with this "update".

    *edit* I actually tried downloading the BIOS. But Dell has now apparently some Sh*T software you are forced to download.
    And that b*llcr*ap malware wont even work on my computer.

    Screw this update.

    i've noticed an improved speed on booting.. about screen brightness.. haven't seen anything apparently...

    yeah I had that issue.. you can manually download it but you'll have to clear your cookies to get the option again.

    I dont't think there is Studio XPS 1646. The lastes one is 1645.
    BIOS A01 is out as well for 1645...
