Hey guys! Im new here, obviously, but I REALLY need help with my laptop. I hope i will get helpful feedback! Looking forward to contributing to the forum.

I have a Dell Studio XPS 13 and I recently discovered two problems. I was trying to play COD MW2 yesterday and it just wouldn't launch. So I decided that I would do a clean reinstall. However, when I inserted the game installer, it wouldn't read it and nothing showed up. My drive, at this point, won't read dvds. I have already tried upgrading my dvd drive's firmware as well as flashing the system bios. Still no luck? Any ideas how to fix this??

Any help would be greatly appreciated. System Specs:
    Windows 7 Pro (64-bit)
    Intel Core 2 Duo P8600
    4 GB RAM
    nVidia 9400M G

Do you still have warranty? If so, contact Dell. Looks like your DVD drive needs to be replaced.
