Whenever I start up Call of Duty 4 I get an message saying...

"Your computer seems to have changed since the last time you ran COD4. Would you like the game to configure itself optimally for your new hardware? This is recommended for most people. It will change the system settings, but not your controls."

And if I have cod running and minimize I see a Nvidia icon in my taskbar and then asks me if I want to change my video settings to 1440x900.
It's weird because it is already set to it. Also when I run Wc3 I get the same Nvidia icon.
I asked this here before, but didn't really get a answer.

Anyone know a fix? I haven't changed my video driver either. It's the stock driver.
