Whenever I start COD4 I always get a message saying "Your computer seems to have changed since the last time playing COD4. Would you like to configure itself optimally for your new hardware?" It's weird because I don't change anything and it always asks for it still.

Also on my desktop once in a while there is an nvidia icon on the bottom right and it asks me to change to 1440x900 for the full effect. I know I am set to 1440x900 and it still asks me. Anyone else get this?

Try a newer driver from LV2G. It's good for performance anyway.
