    Ordered yesterday night:

    P8700 (2.53ghz)
    4gb ram
    ATI Mobility RADEON® HD 3670 - 512MB
    WLED HD Screen
    500gb 7200rpm Seagate HDD
    Works 9 included
6 cell battery (will prob order an 8 cell too..)

I know maybe it's not an "OMG AMAZING" deal but I think it was still pretty good and it kept it within my budget range.

Btw, yes it was an outlet buy under "certified refurbished"...and man those things are difficult to fight for. I will post pictures when it comes in (as soon as I learn how to do that on these forums haha). :)

Grats on your outlet purchase...I'm sure you will really enjoy it!!

And, getting a lappy under 1K, is a very good thing, indeed :D

I bet you get it delivered to you before Friday!

    Cin ;) :)

I hope it gets here before Friday, especially since I get free next business day shipping because of preferred account...I figured considering it's higher than the base model of 2.4ghz and 320gb and I got it for 150 cheaper...not too bad. It was like 150 bucks off and two free upgrades..I think a new one of this caliber was like 1400 or something.

No...was trying to stay under the 1k mark and even at refurb prices I wasn't able to score the RGBLED screen. Plus, the deals disappear so ridiculously fast at the outlet on those 16s that it's nearly impossible to find the ones that have the RGB screen without adding twenty to your cart at once.

I think I'll be good with the WLED screen..like I said it's still a step up from my 1720's standard screen, which I am perfectly happy with, so either way I'll be blown away. :)

Besides, push comes to shove and I truly am unhappy with the screen, they have a decent return policy. Certainly enough time that I'll know whether I like it or not.

    Sooo...the first one I ordered was 949.00.

I just found the same exact computer on the outlet site for 829.00...except it has the 5300 card instead of the 5100. So I ordered that one and I'll be returing this one.

120.00 less for an upgraded machine? Yes please.

Haha thanks...I'm happy that I found it for even a better price. I'm assuming the 5300 is pretty superior to the 5100?
