    Ordering Help

    Hello everyone, I'm having a bit of an issue with my sale representative.
    I do not trust him, and don't have time to send the laptop back and get another one if there is a discrepency.

    I am trying to place an order for a Studio XPS 13.3 inch laptop

    my issue is regarding the screen. when i customized the laptop online, i selected the following screen:

    LCD Panel: "Edge-to-Edge 13.3" HD WXGA Slim WLED LCD with 1.3 Megapixel Camera"

    SKU: 320-7091

    now on the quote my sales guy sent me, there is no mention of that particular SKU or lcd panel

    instead it says:

    "Frameless HD Display, Obsidian Black 1.3 MP webcam"

    SKU: 320-8196


    now i asked him why the SKU's don't match up, he said the sku on the quote is for the camera only. But there is no other mention of the screen anywhere on the quote.

    how can i be sure these screens are the same?

    That is the LED, if it were the LCD it would indicate 2.0 :)
    It is confusing, when I was looking at my quote from my Rep vs. the actual online detailed information for the 256 Nvidia, it was showing different information!!

    Hmm, perhaps they got a different shipment of LED monitors.


    Because it matches neither, and as Cin said yours specifies a 1.3MP camera (as opposed to 2.0) then you should be fine.
