The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. That's the message I get when I enter my service tag and try to initiate a chat on Dell's support site. Any idea why I'd be getting this? My system is definitely under warranty, as it's one month old.

    Try calling up Dell support.

Was the machine purchased from a different country by any chance?

Nope, bought in the US. It's weird, 'cause I've used chat for this machine before and it worked fine.

Probably a glitch in their system then, unless you somehow entered the wrong details in.
