make it quicker better?

I overclock the hell out of my desktop (my CPU is overclocked from 2.13Ghz to 3.2Ghz), but due to the limited cooling in a laptop I would not recommend it in any laptop.

AFAIK you cannot overclock the CPU in the XPS M1530. However, the GPU overclock works quite well. I went from stock 475/700 to 685/1000 and the laptop is stable in demanding games like Crysis even after 4-5 hours of playing. Went from 4300 to 6100 in 3DMark06, and temps have only risen 2-3 C higher than stock clocks.
