    Hey guys,

I've been wanting to overclock my CPU for a while, but now I need your help!
Btw, yes I know it will lead to more heat, but my i3 runs pretty cool and my xps 15 doesn't overheat or feel hot at all.

    Anyways,
I opened up my laptop, and searched for the pll. I think I found it. See the pic below. You have to actually take the mobo out to be able to see it and it's pretty fuzzy:

    Note the 14.138 :)
(Btw this is for the l501x with a i3-370m so I think the i7s uses a different motherboard)

Anyways, if the picture is too low res, the PLL thingy says :

    SLG8SP585V

I looked at setfsb and they don't have the pll listed. So..what do I do now? :D

EDIT: so after some googling and searching around, it looks like a pinmod or some hardware mod is required..so I'm gonna have to give up =/
