    I have a Dell XPS L502x with a GT 540m 2GB.
    Im OCing it to 740/1480/1000
I was just wondering is there any need to increase the voltage? It's currently at stock, 0.98V

Also what do you overclock you GT 540M to?

Unless you experience crashes/glitches, there's no reason to OV. I'm running mine UV at 0.85v and OC'ing to about the same speeds. No issues at all :)

Is there any benfit from undervolting, did you get much lower Temperatures?
What are your exact clock speeds?
Also just out of curiosity do u need the 2670QM for over 1333MHz RAM?

The temps went down when I UV'ed, but I can't remember how much. I got more effect when I repasted with AS5 afterwards. My speeds are 785/1570/1001MHz, and I haven't had a glitch at all.
You'll need an i7 27*QM or 28*QM to use the full speed. I'm planning an upgrade to 2860QM later :)

Nope, different thread, but same topic (if you know what I mean).

The linked thread is the main thread where discussions revolving around OC'ing the 540M began over a year ago. Very good read if you have the time.
