I currently have the TRIM enabled VBM24D1Q firmware, and am wondering if there is any significant improvements in this newer version (VBM25D1Q). I really dont want to, nor have the capabilities right now, to image and restore my drive.

Is it worth it, or can I pass on this upgrade?

If your windows score for the drive is higher then 5.9 then you can probably wait till it's time to reformat. After updating mine it went from 5.9 to 7.3

i have vbm25d1q with a wei score of 6.9. the score and speed of the drive slow down as it gets filled up. I only have 30% filled.

Thanks. My score is 7.2 and has stayed there, even at 90% capacity. I may not even upgrade at that point..

very interesting. I have done a full system reinstall. prior to doing that my system was at 60% and dropped my WEI to 5.9? I've heard WEI means nothing, but prior to reinstalling from the ground up I could definately feel the speed decreasing. Very disturbing considering the premium I paid for the SSD.
