Hi, today i have got a new HDD from dell which is Fujitsu for my xps m1530 system. anyway, normally i always keep dual prtition in my system. so i made my HDD partiton for MD by MD cd. then i installed xp in d drive and kept c drive for vista and also made few other partitions. so after installing xp i installed MD. it was installed successfully but when i click on media direct button nothing comes up. then i check my all program function and found nothing there about nedia direct.

then i switched of computr and press the media direct button. now it tryes to intialize the system and finally couldn't. i have got an error message that

''Dell media direct express can not access your hard drive. this may be because ypu have enabled microsoft bitlocker(Driver Encription)....lavlalaaa.a.a....''

i have never had this type of experience b4. just at the begining of this month i made dual partition with succefully media direct in my new dell xps m1530 system. so why now it's happening in this new hdd. and how can i get rid of this?

I had this problem too and couldn't resolve it after having my laptop for only a day. Tried using a repair tool off the Dell website, but it screwed up my partitions and I had to do a complete reformat and set up the system all over again.

I just went without, but retained and enlarged the second partition for storage of installation files, patches, drivers etc.
