The penryn processor is out for the dell xps m1530 in Australia.

At the moment $2000 AUD will get you a T9300 with free upgrade from the T8300, 3gb ram and 320gb hard drive and upgrade to two years warranty.

Why couldn't they come out with this two weeks ago when i ordered my xps.
Can i still return my current xps and get a new configuration? (i have already received it and paid through salary sacrifice)

You may be able to, call Dell and ask. its usually 30 to 90 days, so you should be in luck.
