"Free Upgrade to Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T9300 (2.5GHz/ 800 FSB/ 6MB Cache)"
"Offer ends 7/02/2008" -
Wow I wish they would hurry up and put it in the uk
-
+1
Well, we finally got the 8800m gtx for the xps so it's a matter of a short wait for penryn to hit the uk. -
uh oh please dont tell me it will be lower then the old one....i dont wanna regret anything...lol
-
If you already have yours then there is nothing to worry about, unless you really have the 'need for speed' you won't notice any real difference.
Prices will probably be higher or the same, to get rid of T7xxx stock. -
I am happy with my speed but if the penryn can lower heat and get more battery life..this is a tough one unless is really expensive. cause I didn't wanna miss out on the discount for the M1330 awhile back.
-
is this the quieter one?
-
Truly appreciate the heads-up on this 'Wurger'. The rest of the online Dell family of websites can't be too far away in the update schedule.
Five star thread. -
The link is now working correctly. Dell is now officially offering the 2.2ghz to Penryn 2.5Ghz upgrade (9300) for $125 AUD.
Finally!!!! -
Yeah, thx, i v been waiting since nov...
-
lol my m1330 comes tomorrow, time to ***** to customer service for an exchange.
-
hmm...the option is no longer there
its not even in the US site too..I guess they updated their stuff a little too early...but now we know that its very close to being released...
-
I still see it on the Australian site.
Hopefully this means we can drop in Penryns, and Dell isn't using some special BIOS (or will at least release that BIOS). -
its in the Australian site yet not in the US? =/ -
sorry did not see it properly..yes its there...but that is the high-end version...comes with 4gb ram, 320gb hard disk that cant be reconfigured...the price is little on the high side and yup its not in the US site..

Per this thread:

Now available in Hong Kong and New Zealand as well.
THe Hong Kong site allows a lot of configuration options starting with a T8100 at about $65 over the price of a T7250.
