    Tl;dr no you can't stop the throttling because the TDP is firmware set, but you can lower the temps quite a lot to eliminate thermal throttling.

    Nice article, and confirms other reviews that the Iris is just not worth the tradeoffs in heat & battery. It actually takes away much of what made the 9350 so attractive in the first place, for minimal gain.
