I am deciding to buy a dell l502x for graduate school since my old asus laptop kicked the bucket. However I am concerned about fan noise issue because class sizes are small in graduate school and I don't want to labeled as a distraction. Is buying a dell l502x an inappropriate choice because of this? I am attracted to the screen and speakers of this laptop for multimedia purposes and light to medium gaming when i am free.

Same. The only time I can hear my fan is when I'm pushing it with gaming or ripping/converting.
