I have a XPS M1530 laptop and it won´t bootup anymore. Here is what happend.

The laptop was on and went in standby mode in 10 or 15 minutes or something. So I tried to turn it on but it didn´t helped, so I turned it off by holding the powerbutton and tried to turn it on again, but it didn´t helped. It is turning on but I´m getting a Blackscreen.

    Thnx in advance

If you just get a black screen, it typically means that there is an issue with your motherboard, cpu or ram.

Are you getting any beeping/flashing lights when you try and turn it on? If so consult your manual to understand what these codes might mean. It will help to speed up the diagnosis of your problem.

Can you hear the hard drive whirring?

If you don't get any beeping/flashing lights. I would do the following:

    1) Reseat your RAM
    2) (If possible) disassemble your laptop to see if you can spot any obvious faults on your motherboard.
    3) Check the thermal paste and the CPU itself.

    Hope this helps

Okay your laptop doesn't POST not it doesn't boot.

    Try:

    - Reseatting the RAM

    - Using known good RAM

After that, sounds like your M1530 is a victim of the defective Nvidia chips. You would need a new motherboard if you aren't in warranty.
