    Hey all

Currently owning an XPS 13 (infinity display) that i use everyday in the university. Sometimes it runs short on battery life and that's why i want to hear if any of you uses a portable battery pack? and i that case which one?

Read about the power companion but it is a little expensive in my opinion as the 12.000 MAh one costs 100$ in Denmark.

    Let me hear your opnion.

    Thanks in advance

I have the 18000 mah portable companion and the premier backpack.

Its very convenient for me in coffee places without enough plugs. what i do is plug it in in my backpack near the outlet and then i use the laptop on battery. then when im ready to leave i put my laptop in my backpack and it charges it back up

all ill say is that the it uses the older cell technology so compared to how much charge it gives it is large and heavy compared to the li polymer battery in the laptop itself.

it charges from the dell plug, but the xps 159550 is compatible with usb c chargers which may pack more punch vs their weight.
but they might need yet another charger where as this one charges from your adapter youre already carrying.

also a usb c charger cant be used at the same time as my usb c to 3 x 3.0 usb adapter i have
other than that its extremely convenient it charges from a dell adapter

i have the dell backpack which has a compartment for it and a pass through for its cord, and the premiere sleeve has a spot for its plug so it charges in your backpack.
its nice but its not necessary

Kayo Maxtar produces a 50000mah portable battery that I am quite interested in.

Does seem to review fairly well out there, elsewhere, too. More expensive than the power companion, but in terms of capacity / price quite a bit more affordable, and - likely - enough to give you a full charge, too.

Don't have a definite answer whether it actually charges Dell Xps laptops though.

Both seem quite nice. Imo the Dell power companion is a little pricey compared to what you get. And tho the 50k mAH one sounds nice, is a little too big. At that size i might aswell just bring my charger. Anyone know anything smaller like a 20k mAH?

I have a 10k and 20k mah battery pack that I use for my phones, so my understanding is that I just need a new USB c cable to charge the 9350?

Not sure it works that way, think you'll just be charging the batteries that way. Furhtermore my XPS is the first infinity screen edition, so it doesnt have USB C.
