    Possible to buy the 4 vent for XPS16?

    I bought my XPS 16 off ebay and it didn't have the five slot exhaust vent. Does anyone know where I can purchase a piece?

    What four vent? XPS 16 has only one fan for cooling.

    Oops my mistake I meant to say 5 vent, the exhaust vent to let the hot air out. I want that back piece you can take off and I was wondering is it possible to order that piece anywhere?

    I currently have 4 slot exhaust to let the hot air out and I want to order a 5 slot exhaust piece.

    I didn't know there was such a difference.. I'm gonna check mine now =)

    I only saw 3 actual vent holes on the back panel.. not counting that vent hole where the fan blows out.

    Yeah I believe the first xps 16 came with the three vent holes, then next came with four and now they have five. I'm sure it helps some what, because they wouldn't add another slot for no apparent reason.

    interesting.. well I have an NC2000 zalman so I guess I'm good. But I am interested to know if a better panel can actually be purchased.

    It's not the fan that's the problem for heat, it's the southbridge that really packs the punch, which no amount of vent improvements will fix
