    Hello,

I've got a Studio XPS 16 since a week, and I've called Dell to get my 90W adapter changed by a 130W one, since it was overheating.

They agreed to change it even if it didn't cause throttling (I'm sure, I ran some tests).
They also told me I can keep my former adapter. So I'd like to have it for when I'm away, since it's smaller.

I just received the new one, and the power cord is not supplied, I have to use my existing one.

So, to use my 90W adapter, I'd like to buy a power cord. I've found some on the web, but I'm not sure it will fit my adapter.

    Here it is:
Power Cord for Dell Inspiron and latitude

I need the power cord with a French plug ( type E) or a British plug ( type G).

Do you think it's the right cord?
    Thank you in advance.

The power cord to which you linked will work. The actual connector on the brick is pretty generic. It just won't be as convenient to wrap because it doesn't have the 180 degree bend.

Yeah sounds right. I actually use all of the three-plug type power cords from my previous laptops and they all fit perfectly.

the cord that plugs into the brick is a generic cord.. You should be able to get one at most electronic stores....
