Ok, I've just got PowerDVD 9 Ultra and I'm having a few problems

I can't get it to output audio over the HDMI connection to my TV when playing a Blu-Ray

With PowerDVD 8 it paid attention to the default device in the Playback control panel.

No matter what I do PowerDVD 9 will only play audio through the Speaker/Headphones - even if I set the HDMI to the default output device.

If I select S/PDIF in PowerDVD 9 as the output it tries and sends Uncompressed Audio to the TV (which it can't handle)

    It's driving me crazy

I'm having this exact problem! CyberLink tech support is useless. I've told them PowerDVD 8 and MediaDirect 4.7 (which is a CyberLink product) both work. They told me PowerDVD 9 uses new codecs and that my audio drivers are out of date.

Don't hold your breath for a fix!
