I just downgraded my xps m1330 to window xp. It seems to be running well. But whenever I connect the power cord to the laptop, everything slows down. It takes way more time to load the window, Dell logo page, and even stuff on internet. Does anyone have similar problem?

no, but i use vista, hrr hrr :)

but seriously, it may be that something's messed up in your power profile. try switching to another one or reconfiguring it.

    still, poor vista :(

As daverperman says it is probably as messed up power profile. Not too familiar with the M1330, but is there anything in the bios regarding power options. Also make sure you are running the latest BIOS

To StudioXPS16, again as in another thread, not a very helpful comment.
