HI folks. Recently I update my xps 1640 to the 0.25 (or something like that I can't recall) from the Intel site. I have just notice a few weeks later that my usb port has ceased to provide power when my laptop is off. As I figure it was the chipset update that did this I have never actually installed a previous chipset release over newer one (if there is a better option than this I'd love to hear it)
So is safe to do? It would be the current November pm45 release that is still sitting there over @ dell's driver page.

Thoughts on this approach or if I am going down the wrong path here trouble shooting wise is greatly appreciated.
    Regads,
