Sometimes when I try installing a game on it, it won't show any disk in the drive. I'll put the disk in, open My Computer, but wont show anything except the C and D drives. Anyone know what's wrong and/or how to fix this? Any help would be appreciated.

    What drive is it?
You drive might be RIP or sometimes packet type burning software tents to mess up the optical drives.
There is also a reg fix which sometimes works I posted it on here sometime ago I'll try and find it for you and post back. Failing that search on Microsoft help support.

I used to have this issue with my Matas hita drive. If I uninstalled the drive from the device manager and then scanned for new hardware, it would reinstall, and then read the disc in the drive.

Unfortunately, for me, it was a temporary fix and if the end result is anything like what eventually happened to mine, the drive failed reading and burning discs altogether and I had to replace it.

The only problem I had with doing the above suggestion, is for some reason it screwed up my itunes ability to burn an MP3 CD.
