    Hi, First Post....

Really enjoying my new dell laptop. Loving the amazing screen and the speed of the beast,

    although ....

It has lately developed a problem whereby the laptop freezes when the fan kicks in, or sometimes the fan doesn't even kick in at all but I happen do open a software program or watch an intense action scene in a film which also leads to the laptop freezing.

It only freezes for a second and returns to normal. But the most annoying thing about the problem is it distorts the sound. When I am playing music, I get something like white noise every so often which means listening to music is virtually impossible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I had great trouble communicating my problem to the Dell call centre in India. As far as they could tell it had nothing to do with hardware, but then said that they might change my heat sink?
