    Hey everyone,

    I'm trying to install Windows XP Pro on my XPS m1530. I am using this driver pack:

    Which AHCI driver(s) should I include? UDI mentions in his readme (Method 1) to use 82801HEM/HBM (Mobile) driver. This driver is in both iaahci.inf and iastor.inf. Which one should I use? I have a 7200 RPM SATA HD.

    try one , if it does not work, re-install and try the other

    you wonder why dell did not offer xp drivers,,,the great minds that work at dell...

    here is a link i found for installing windows xp drivers for the xps m1530.

    i have an insprion 1520, and has vista..i might just install xp today and see how it runs....lucky ..dell has the drivers for it.
