I just ordered a Dell XPS 17 with a 2630QM 2Ghz processor.
My XPS 15 that I just sold had a 2720QM 2.2Ghz processor.
How big of a difference is there really? My RAM is going from 6GB to 8GB and my Video is going from the 2GB 540m to the 3GB 555m, so is that enough to make up the difference?

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
Unless you are doing heavy duty rendering, normal usage you won't see a difference. All depends on your usage patterns.

Gaming....I play some graphic heavy games, but not a ton....Civ V was my biggest time killer....Shogun II as well. But I may play Dragon Age II or Brink soon.

Gamers don't benefit as much from their CPU as they do from getting a better GPU. The 2630 is definitely enough for pretty much any sort of gaming you'll do.

Cool, thanks for the info.
