I think I am going epp. I'm haggling right now. I really don't want the nvidia chip and they are trying to force me and raising cost if I drop it from my config.

    Dell EPP

too bad, most (good) deals include the nVidia 8400M GS

$1268 + tax for Dell EPP, for the machine in my signature

for the MOST BASIC machine in Dell EPP, its selling $800+ for all basic specs... (intel x3100, non-penyrn processor, 1 yr warranty...)...which isnt bad if u want a cheap ultraportable that's stylish

Yeah I saw that. THey won't let me downgrade the graphics though. I don't want it failing and don't need i and without it I can go with the 4 cell battery for the lightest weight possible. The guys was a dick tonight to me and refused to downgrade the graphics card and battery even for the same price. he said it was a bundle. I hung up on him. I guess now Im researching if I should wait for montevina. when does that get released? Im sure there will be more deals in august for back to school im just dead in the water without a laptop right now.
