Another new owner here, I got mine direct from Dell this afternoon. Just done the basics and I'm wondering what steps people would take next if they were to get a new one?

I've done the BIOS update and all of the Windows updates, also updated the trackpad and it seems good so hopefully they've updated that properly!

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Happy using. Maybe install Battery Bar Pro to check out the kind of battery draining. That's really about it. It should all be working fine.

Thanks a lot, I do agree, I wasn't planning on doing anything silly just wanted to ensure that I got the best experience. Having felt the touchpad update it was clear that needed to be done so I'm glad I did that.

Just purchased Battery Bar Pro - seems handy so far, so thank you for the recommendation! I appreciate your response.

I got the latest BIOS update and was told it's included in that, alternatively there's also a separate touchpad driver available on the Dell update website.

Congrats on your purchase, I hope you're enjoying it!
