Hey there mate, I am also planning to get the XPS M1530.I called up Dell UK day b4 yesterday and a Dell representative confirmed me that the Dell website does not state all the options available(donno why),however more configuration options are available if you call them up.He also confirmed me that I could get a 200 GB 7200 RPM hard drive and the 1440*900 resolution screen.Ya I also donno why they don hav ne coupons etc.Btw if you are a student and you tell them that, you MIGHT get around 50 pounds off(one of my friends did that).

Hmm that IS interesting. Then we can order from the business order page and get the cheaper price.I am pretty sure Dell is aware of this(as in if no proof is needed then neone can order it from the business site). Why do they have the home order page then, wouldn't everyone order from the business site?

business laptops are more professional looking so business people prefer them while others prefer the colourful mainstream inspirons

I actually ordered an M1530 a week ago over the phone. I initially found that the business site was cheaper than home at £895. (With lower res screen and 5400rpm hardrive).

    BUT

I rung up the home dept; I got the higher resolution screen and the 7200rpm hardrive all thrown in at the same price for £895. To boot the guy knocked off £50 pounds taking it to £845.

So ordering from home saved me probably over £100. MY ADVICE IS TO RING UP.
