    If I get the basic graphics card config, could I upgrade it later or am I stuck with the same graphics card? I'm not too versed in laptop cards

    Actually, YES you can upgrade it. :)

    If you purchased the 1730 with the 8700, you can upgrade it to the 8800M GTX SLI. You'll just have to fork over 1k for it @ Dell ( LINK) or search eBay...

    It sure has a lot of screws.
    I counted 32 screws, including the two captive screws on the hard drive cover.
