    Hey guys,
I'm probably gonna buy a SXPS 16 tomorrow or something but I was wondering a few things and hoped you guys could answer.

    1. Is the SXPS 16 uncomfortably hot? If yes, do you think undervolting would make it more bearable? Like a noticeable difference?

    2. Is it worth to spend the extra $350 for the ATI 4670 and RGBLED screen? Or I can split it, is it worth to spend $100 for the 4670, or is it worth to spend $250 for the RGBLED screen? And if possible where could I find a cheaper way to get those 2 or one of them? Like a reseller or something. (Sorry that question is long and kinda confusing I guess)

    3. Are you guys happy, satisfied, or dissapointed about your purchase?

    4. What does the SXPS offer that is special, besides RGBLED screen?

    That's about it.

Sorry if it's kind of long I just wnna be sure of my purchase.
Add in anything else that I should know when buying it whether bad or good.

    Thank you!

IMO it's uncomfortably hot to sit directly on the lap. I would recommending undervolting, as it will make it slightly more bearable, but still a little uncomfortable.

    2. Is it worth to spend the extra $350 for the ATI 4670 and RGBLED screen? Or I can split it, is it worth to spend $100 for the 4670, or is it worth to spend $250 for the RGBLED screen? The 4670 is absolutely not worth it if you don't play somewhat demanding games. The RGBLED screen is AWESOME. I would highly recommend buying it. If you want to save money, buy your computer from the dell outlet. I bought my 1340 as a factory refurb off of ebay. I saved like $600.

    3. Are you guys happy, satisfied, or dissapointed about your purchase?
I am very happy with my purchase. You can't beat it for the price IMO.

    4. What does the SXPS offer that is special, besides RGBLED screen?
Backlit keyboard, good price, good looks, solid design.

If let's say I wanted to play Starcraft 2 when it came out would I need anymore than the 3670? And any other war strategy games?

You should ask that in the 4670 thread on this forum. I'm not much of a gamer.

I was also considering for the purchase of SXPS 16 and tracking/reading its review from different sites/forums. One thing what I found very common for this model is ITS UNUSUALLY TOO HOT. Apart from this all are satisfied with this model. Yes, offcourse few are shouting about the leather being used in this model, with a fear that the leather would tearaway after a couple of years or it will start bad smell ;) Few are guessing that Dell will consider its customers input and will come-up with a 2nd version of SXPS 16 ! Lets hope for the best.

Games like starcraft 2 rely more on the CPU, so you should be fine (but you can't max the game on 1920x1080 resolution - not even close).
