I'm a noob when it comes to laptops, so forgive me if I act like one. I ordered a reburbished M1530 on Tuesday morning after spending a week or so reading info (both good and bad) from this forum and have a few questions.
1. The screen listed on the order status emailed to me says "Module,Liquid Crystal Display 15.4WXGA+,Lg Philips Lcd,M1530", however, what is the pixelation? I believe it's 1440 x 900, is this correct? Also, the order status has this info above the display info "Module,Bezel,Liquid Crystal Display,W/CMRA,Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp,M1530". What is this referring to?
2. When I was looking at the specifications page of the laptop, it said it had the 256MB 8600GT video card installed, however the emailed order status says nothing about it (nor any video card). Question is, does this come with DDR3 or DDR2, or does it not matter since it is not listed I probably I didn't get it?
3. The specs page also said the laptop has Windows Vista Ultimate as the OS. Does this only come as 64 bit, or will that need to be an upgrade I'll need to purchase? The order status page shows the OS as "Module,Software,Windows Vista Os,Hypertext Markup Language GUIDE,World Wide".
and finally, 4. I received an email from Dell Tuesday evening stating they shipped (Next Day Business) the M1530; however their website, under the tracking information, says:
Carrier: Data Temporarily Unavailable
Tracking Number: Data Temporarily Unavailable
I attributed this as it was "ready for shipping" and would be picked up the next day (yesterday). Unfortuantely this status has NOT changed (I just rechecked). I'm wondering if anyone else experienced something sinilar to this?

1. Yes WXGA+ is 1440x900. The other info about the backlit of your screen which is CCFL.
2. The 8600 card in the M1530 is DDR3
3. It's 32bit
4. Contact dell customer support for your tracking information. -
1. yes its a 1440 x 900 resolution screen. its a normal lcd screen not led.

Thanks for the information. I just called Dell Customer Service and they said the reason there is no tracking information is because the laptop is waiting to be picked up by the shippers.
And I paid how much for "Next Business Day"?!?!?! Oh well, what can you do, Dell says the shipper was notified.
